Direct city number

Information about changes in the rules for providing and receiving the Direct City Number landline communication service to and by Kyivstar telecommunication network subscribers.

We hereby inform you that after 18.10.2011 the service will be provided to all the existing and new users of the Direct City Number service upon signing a public agreement for providing landline telephone communication services: Direct City Number service provision rules.

The terms are deemed accepted upon ordering the service (by submitting an application to the subscriber service centre or the My Kyivstar system)  for new subscribers ordering the service, and the actual use of the service from the direct city number for the existing users having activated the service.

Please keep in mind that agreements for landline services are terminated under p. 6.2 of the agreement.

You do not have to contact the subscriber service centres and the client relation department to sign agreements in writing, and this will save your time.

Every user of the Direct City Number service will be informed about changes in contractual relations with the subscriber and further provision of this service under a public agreement at least 5 calendar days beforehand through an SMS message and a voicemail machine.

Advantages

Direct City Number offers additional advantages to you, your partners, relatives, and friends:

• lower charge for calls made by subscribers calling you from landline numbers in Ukraine;
• convenient calls to your number: subscribers of the city’s landline network in which you activated the direct number may dial your number without dialing the network code (as if they called within the city);
• several direct city numbers can be activated in various cities of Ukraine and this is additionally convenient when receiving calls from various cities of Ukraine;
• possibility to choose the number: Kyivstar offers numbers to activate the service from its own number fund so that you can choose a number, which is easy to remember (the Number at Choice service);
• service mobility: you will not miss calls irrespective of your location;
• use of the direct city number will emphasize your care about convenience and reduction in the costs of your partners, relatives, and friends.

Examples of use

The Direct City Number service will be helpful if you need both a mobile and landline number in one telephone, because it guarantees the following:

• receiving calls from partners and relatives that are unable to make calls from the landline network to mobile phone numbers due to restrictions/blocking or a high cost of calls;
• if you often change the address of your office or a place of residence, the contact city telephone number remains unchanged;
• the direct city number may be indicated on your business card or in an advertisement or announcement placed by you.

Billing

The provided tariffs include the VAT.

* The forwarded call from the landline number under the Direct City Number service is charged for per second. Calls lasting up to 2 minutes, inclusively, are free.

While activating the service, you may order advantageous packages of minutes and save by using the Direct City Number service:

The tariffs of the Direct City Number service do not depend on your current tariff plan.

Additional information

• When calls are made to your direct city number, the telephone display shows the incoming call as a forwarded one (the display form depends on the mobile phone model).
• The Direct City Number service is offered only to Kyivstar contract subscriber.
• The number funds of the cities below are available today in order to activate the service:

Kyiv, Odesa, Mykolayiv, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kryvy Rih, Zaporizhia, Lviv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol, Poltava, Sevastopol, Simferopol, and Kharkiv.

Numbers in the cities below are planned to be opened:

Zhytomyr, Horlivka, Lutsk

How to activate

In order to activate the Direct City Number service or packages of the service, you need just to place an order with the Kyivstar subscriber service centre or in the My Kyivstar system.
