Kyivstar is extending the duration of the «Vkontakte» promotional service for an indefinite period. Kyivstar and DJUICE prepaid rate plans subscribers can continue using the website of the VKontakte.ru social network at a special rate, for only 0.02 UAH/MB. Thus, subscribers can get more communication with their friends and acquaintances in the social network, spending on it much less.

On December 20th all DJUICE, Kyivstar and Beeline subscribers, who use the «D-Jingle» service, can install world famous hits from the X Factor show instead of beeps. Among the customers, who install respective d-jingles in their phones or present them to other subscribers, 10 tickets for the gala concert of X Factor show will be raffled.

During 2011 Kyivstar was carrying out the upgrading of the mobile communications network on the territory of Western Ukraine. During January-December the Company built 250 base stations in all eight oblasts of Western Ukraine, expanding the coverage and significantly increasing the network throuput capacity.

The integrated Kyivstar has made an «Extra Money» service available to Beeline-Ukraine customers. Now Beeline-Ukraine customers can order additional funds in the amount of 10.00 UAH to their mobile phone number to make, if necessary, an emergency call, if there is no sufficient amount of money on the mobile account.

The cities of Krasnyi Luch of Luhansk Oblast and Teplodar of Odesa Oblast were connected to the Kyivstar broadband Internet network. Thus, the coverage of the «Home Internet» service is now including 133 cities of Ukraine.

Kyivstar has improved the «Additional Number» service, which makes it possible to have two mobile numbers on one SIM card. From now on, apart from making calls, it is possible to send and receive SMS messages by means of the «Additional number.»

A unique «Free d-jingles for the entire family» musical promotional offer was launched at the DJUICE entertainment arena on November 2nd. During the first month of the promotional offer DJUICE and Kyivstar subscribers received and installed more than 2 million free
d-jingles.

In September2011 Kyivstar introduced a «Happy» rate plan without a connection fee, with a daily user’s subscription fee and a large number of daily non-rated minutes for calls within the network. For three months this convenient and cost-efficient rate has been chosen by more than 1 million Kyivstar.

From December 5th DJUICE is offering a new «5+0» rate according to a unique formula:
0 kopecks is a rate for calling DJUICE numbers and 5 kopecks is a rate per minute for calling all other directions.

Kyivstar offers new volumes of text messages such as «Package 30 SMS» and «Package 60 SMS» to its customers of prepaid communications as well as DJUICE and Beeline-Ukraine subscribers. The text message packages can be sent to the numbers of all mobile operators of Ukraine.

Three years have passed since a «Mobile Internet» set from Kyivstar complete with a wireless modem appeared on the telecommunications services market, winning quickly high demand. During this period the Kyivstar subscribers have purchased more than 730 thousands of these sets, and the price for the product has decreased more than threefold.

«Kyivstar Business» and «Foxtrot. Household appliances» sales network are announcing about the beginning of the festive promotional offer for all subscribers of unlimited rate plans. Now unlimited rate users can purchase home appliances and domestic electronic equipment with a discount of 10 to 15%.

Kyivstar launched an application for «My Kyivstar/My DJUICE» self-servicesystem for smartphones working on the base of the Android operating system. This application makes it possible for each operator’s subscriber to independently manage costs and mobile communications services. The beta version of the application is already available to Kyivstar subscribers on Android Market.

In the 3rd quarter 2011 the joint Kyivstar subscribers increased the amounts of consumption of mobile Internet services by 37%, up to 787.5 TB, against the similar period last year. Revenues from provision of services over the same period grew by 16% and amounted to 180.7 mln UAH.

For convenience of the customers Kyivstar is introducing two new free services: «My Number» and «Exact Time.» By means of these tools the subscriber can learn at any time the number of his/her mobile phone and current time.

In October 2011 Kyivstar completed the implementation of a large-scale «EDGE-2011» project aimed at expanding the capacity and throughput of mobile communications network base stations. As a result, the average speed of wireless data transmission in the Kyivstar network grew up to 140 KB/s and the capacity of the EDGE/GSM network increased by 25 percent.

Kyivstar is announcing the appearance of a new «Hello world» rate offer, which enables new customers to take advantage of one of the lowest price offers in the Ukrainian market for calls to Russia, CIS countries, Europe, North America and the East countries. The «Hello world» rate is on sale as a separate starter pack.

Starting from November 1, 2011 «Kyivstar Business» is offering three rate plans for connecting high speed Internet to the new customers representing small and medium business. The new rate plans provide unlimited access to the World Wide Web for user’s charges between 69.00 and 199.00 UAH a month depending on the chosen speed.

Kyivstar is launching the first project of mobile advertising: the «My Discount» service. The new service will make it possible for all the Kyivstar subscribers to get SMS and MMS with information about exclusive discounts and offers from the Kyivstar partners. In turn, the advertisers will have a unique possibility of offering their best goods and services to potential buyers, using mobile phone as a personal means of communications.

In June 2011 Kyivstar together with Yandex made a promotional offer to its subscribers to try using a Yandex.Maps mapping application for mobile phones without paying for this service. The offer was in effect till late October, but now Kyivstar is making a present to all its subscribers by extending the duration of the offer’ s terms.
